The "patriots" at work bring up this idea of deportation lately, and I know they don't have the guts for it. They're too comfortable, too stuck in their ways seeing their enemies as 'human' to do what would need to be done to "take the country back". They never understand that everyone arrayed them is one step ahead: They don't see YOU as human, why do them an unreciprocated favor and do so for them?
They think deportations will be as simple as telling the INS who's paying illegals for a few years, tossing them on a plane back to shitholes of their own creation, and you magically have your birthright back.
Ask them if they'd be able to do a 3 am raid on a squatter house with 27 men, women, and children, drag them out of their hovel by the hair and chain them to each other, do paperwork while you listen to them weep for hours - suddenly they balk. They want their country back without having to use "too much" force. They don't understand that civilization-scale threats aren't like their red vs. blue niggerball games - people aren't going to be easygoing and humane when that prickling survival instinct wells up at the base of their brain.
The asterisk is that they're content to bayonet-march little white girls to class though, they're always happy to brutalize us. They know none of us fight back.
