   Having an insta isn't just to see if you're popular, it's how women vet prospective mates. Having a yawning black hole of a social media profile - without having a community recommendation to prove you're a worthwhile man - basically tells her you spend all your time being underemployed playing video games. Having a modest footprint online to show off your healthy hobbies and engage with your family/community shows you're a well adjusted guy and have potential to be a respectable husband.

   It's not ALWAYS about whores playing status games, good girls are JUST as leery as YOU are about finding a spouse-worthy person. They want a good guy who isn't totally porn brained, perverse, lazy, and worthless, just like you want a girl whose soul hasn't been corrupted by dopamine-addiction and pumped full of 150 strangers' DNA. Good girls exist, and they're a precious commodity that can't be wasted on freaks, perverts, and dead-ends. Her parents, sisters, want to vet you too.

   You'd do just fine to have a tiny account to talk to friends & family about raising hens, it's a good look. Just fill it up w/ some cute stuff and log in once every 2 weeks so it looks like you've got a life

     @boburtle @givenup Cold consolation if you're the last son of your name. It doesn't kill you to play the game for a season, guys are so principled they're fine with walking into extinction.

     Permanent childlessness sucks, if playing normie for a year lets you escape that fate it's absolutely worth it.
