Watch shit like The Bear and you'll realize that internet poisoning isn't just a thing among localizers, but screenwriters in general. It doesn't get much more cringe than watching some 40-something line cook from inner city Chicago rant about incels and 4chan. And they were trying to prop this show up like it was the next Breaking Bad.
