   One huge reason why social mobility is dead is that you need experience to qualify for job openings and move up the proverbial ladder, but because employers demand said experience you’re almost immediately eliminated from consideration right off the bat.
   
   It’s a terrible catch 22 that should be talked about a lot more than it is.

     @DW2 @Rayfield Employers increasingly just... don't train anyone, ever, at all. It's sort of crazy.
