     Election will happen, if it doesn't then it's guaranteed civil war.
     
     There won't be a civil war because if there was, the US Empire would fall which would utterly demolish the elites who have built their fortunes on it.
     
     Disease X is one of those things, they might kind of try it but they're going to get "stuffed in the locker" pretty quick this time around so I'm going with "no".
