@mischievoustomato @TURBORETARD9000 @thegreatape I don't want to bother doing things with GUI because I can do it faster in CLI. I had an actually decent computer class in middle school because the autist teacher took away the mice because people were playing games. He then went on to teach us how to quickly navigate the machine using only the keyboard.
100%, if people learned the basics of terminal interaction, Linux adoption would explode

@thegreatape NGL the biggest barrier to entry on Linux is a lack of documentation on the average user level

i'd say the biggest barriers are:
- people are afraid and don't know how the terminal works
- people are afraid of touching stuff they don't understand too well

yeah. the terminal is pretty nice, i wont lie, but there's times when a nice gui would also speed things up in some ways.
