I hate the anti-Christ.
Also, you can't hate journalists enough.

- Machismo repeated this.

@diresock >conventionally
factory farming isn't "conventional" farming you fucking kikes
-
@diresock "Working the earth the way God intended is harmful to my religion, you better stop it now"
-
@diresock do you have chickens? You're worse than this lithium mine.
do you have a gas stove? You're worse than this coal mine.
do you take six minute showers more than once a month? You're worse than California's industrial water consumption.
do you have potatoes and strawberries growing by your house? You're worse than this huge stockpile of depleted uranium getting blown up over the most fertile soil on the planet.
-
@sapphire @diresock meanwhile i'm in my lane composting to the point that no food or biodegradable waste leaves my house in a trash bag at all, if it weren't for the fact that everythign is packed in palstic these days i'd hardly have any garbage
-
@givenup @diresock gardening will probably happen for me next year, I'm gonna have to move once the insurance finally decides to condemn this house
-
@sapphire @diresock truth be told, what they're trying to say could be true or not, but it really isn't about that and we all know it, it's about restricting people from self sufficiency.
-
@givenup @diresock the premise of anthropogenic climate change is retarded on its face so any argument made with it as a base is also retarded
The most we're doing is staving off another ice age for a few more centuries
-
@theorytoe Don't fall for their nonsense, CO2 isn't a problem to begin with.
It's not a pollutant, plants need it to grow, and it doesn't contribute to a "green house effect" since it's heavier than oxygen and nitrogen, and doesn't reach the upper atmosphere anyway.
And the whole concept of "green house effect" is bunk too.
But no one talks about it.
This is the same thing that leftists did with abortions.
They can't argue the fetus isn't alive when it gets a heart beat within weeks, so they just don't address it, and move a step ahead, talking about who has the right to kill the unborn, and just assuming it's legitimate in the first place when it isn't.
-
@diresock sure
but consider the carbon footprint of the sum of everything used in commercial growing...
think about it, 90% of their resources are probably made in some factory, spewing out waste chemicals into the air (prolly a LOT of co2)
you have basically none of that homegrown
-
@justnormalkorean @skylar @theorytoe @diresock yes, it happened, but ultimately it wasn't poor management that caused it, the fucking world said "FUCK YOU"
-
@givenup @skylar @theorytoe @diresock still counts
-
@skylar @theorytoe @diresock Even nips had a meltdown.
-
@justnormalkorean @skylar @theorytoe @diresock yea after a natural disaster
-
@skylar @theorytoe @diresock >nuclear energy doesn't go far enough because it's somehow racist
-
@justnormalkorean @theorytoe @diresock well it is
browns and slavs other than russians can't operate nuclear anything without fucking it up
-
@theorytoe @diresock it isn't
-
@diresock yeah I do know that
its more of assuming the end goal is "what produces less" rather than "is co2 a problem or not"
