@ooignignoktoo Oh I'm not against achievements, but there's several problems with the concept
Honestly, a lot of Achievements are awful other than for stuff that overall lacks goals, like for example, TF2
Most of them are lame shit like "Chapter 4 complete", they rarely have innovative or interesting challenge that you could just instead not lazily introduce in the game and make them better, instead it's limited by what's possible already and entirely something that just exists for someone to just make a shit to-do list
Then there's the issues of co-op and online achievements that can be impossible to get later on or just not a thing most people could get (co-op)
And then you got your ridiculous one like, what was it, FF11 360 that had something stupid like get all classes to lv99 and it would have taken more than 5000 hours to do? So there has to be a balance between them not being too time wasting, not being immensely hard (Contra 1CC or something, it's especially egregious with the final "final platinum trophy completion" concept, so ultra hard ones becomes a pain in the ass if one is too hard to get, so might as well not even try the rest), but not being immensely easy either or pointless
What a shitshow. I think the worst thing of them all is that they unlock nothing on the system, no background, no profile picture, no nothing. So in the end, it's bragging rights (it was initial advertised as such) that nobody really cares about other than seeing the line going up at this point

I like when they tie it to in-game stuff like bonus modes, extras or new items (isaac, sonic mania, ror2, etc). That's the only time I have fun with it.
