   @Mithril_Noble Yes, with surprising frequency. I keep hearing that “I don’t want a headache, man. Like She needs to take care of herself, I don’t want someone high-maintenance”

   Which doesn’t mean ‘makeup’ and attention, but seems to have expanded into anything that cuts into his vidya time. Seems like it’s a constant bugbear for the under-25s. They want a woman, but want to live like they’re 17 forever. They want to work, but when they come home they lose it when they’re expected to do anything but retreat into the coomer cave and sink 65 hours in the AAA game of the month.

   I’m surprised the “equal partner” phrase comes up so much, too. I think it’s them wanting too much out of a woman combined with years of being dissuaded from wanting a malleable girl because it’s so loathed by feminists

     Marriage is a Great Labor more than it is anything, a lifetime project to build and maintain a family and a home.
