Hell, when you broaden it that kind of thing happens a lot. Her parents know you’re going to the 4th of july party? Well they’re pushing her to come with the “family” because they want you two to meet

It’s hard when they’re the same age, I’d be looking at a 3-year age gap as fairly ideal. Lets him get his legs and mature a little bit before her so she looks up to him and thinks he’s cool. Harder to do that when they’re in the same classes together.
  In my case, she got super fat and worldly, our families stopped getting together because they went further left and we went further right. In the end she married some homosexual “club promoter”.
  My buddy had a gorgeous (but mentally odd) girl he grew up with, she ended up not getting into college with him (because it’s “too soon” to marry according to his parents) and she ended up getting married to some 23 yo in her freshman year at the state school
  So O for 2 for the ones off the top of my head

He either did egyptology or paleontology, can’t recall which. His dad wants to sell the biz when he retires.
