     I remember when it started out and it was shilled to twitchfags. I thought if the average twitch stream watcher was using that garbage for "gaming" there's no way the userbase wouldn't be insufferable. Here we are ~10 years later, not only was the userbase insufferable but they also egged themselves on to become gay tranny faggots.

     I maintain that Discord is the shittiest form of all the modes of conversation it facilitates and relies entirely on network effect.

     It's a steaming pile and it's a huge part of the enshitification of the internet.
