     @sam @cassidyclown Do they appear in other frontends like Sengi and Bloat? If not, notif might be sent through without being saved in DB (we had a similar side-effect with report notification MRF with @iamtakingiteasy, but the culprit were malformed reports themselves in some specific pleromer version, so I doubt it applies here).

     @cassidyclown I can reproduce the bug, the notification seems to not go through only if you have the websocket option disabled (it defaults to being disabled)

     @mint @cassidyclown @iamtakingiteasy it's really inconsistent, sometimes I get the notification everywhere and sometimes I get it nowhere
     Following and unfollowing someone is really jank so that is probably part of it but otherwise I have no idea
