-Selling out of their games, which they had to during the Wii U because of financial issues
-Keeping the prices high
However if the Switch 2 is backward compatible, I expect them to start making Switch 1 discount labels
I wouldn't expect the Play-Asia import games to go down tho'-

I mean they have their subscription service and account system and everything. cool_boy_mew likes this. -

cool_boy_mew (coolboymew@shitposter.club)'s status on Saturday, 20-Jan-2024 00:34:05 JST cool_boy_mew @diurnalfreak666 @kroner @lykanthrocide A lot of the "leaks", leaks (actual manufacturer infos telling or hinting) and predictions regarding chips and such are predicting backward compatibility due to similar cpu and such. At worse they'd need a GPU translation layer, but even there, if it's anything like the Steam Deck or even stronger, it can outright emulate the Switch -
Leyonhjelm (leyonhjelm@breastmilk.club)'s status on Saturday, 20-Jan-2024 01:14:09 JST Leyonhjelm I would be shocked if full backwards compatibility weren’t included. It’s ARM based and uses an OS that will be just as good on improved hardware. that’s not an accident
