     Last time I used OVH, my server burned up in a literal fire.

     @nixCraft I've been working with Hetzner dedicated servers for 10y now. Experienced a couple of hw failures (hdd failure, cpu fan stopped working), all were dealt with quickly. Very few network outages. Keep in mind that they do not have IPMI, but if needed you can request a remote console that will be connected by their tech staff (usually within 30 min)

     @nixCraft I have my personal stuff at OVH, all good for the last 7 years. Also got lucky with clean IP, so I can use my own mail server.

     @nixCraft OVH is good as long as you dont need support or if you pay for the support. They have good visibility and transparency on incidents through a dedicated page. (You can even see links saturations and such). Would recommend. If you are more on a budget, you can check SoYouStart or Kimsufi which are OVH brands for their previous generation servers (but same quality)

     @nixCraft Hetzner. We have a HUGE server with 160GB of ram from them, and it's not that expensive. They're great
