     @nixCraft I experimentally left coding for nearly a decade to go and do Hard Work. It sucks, it really sucks Baaaaad, so I came back to coding in the end.
     There is no work as cushy that pays as much.

     @nixCraft necessity, I had a ZX81 and very little opportunity to buy games on tapes. I typed in the games from listings in Your Sinclair and similar magazines, you couldn't help but learn what thins were doing because accuracy was difficult so you had to understand the error messages.

     @nixCraft I didn't have a video game console in my childhood, but had a laptop. I wanted to create my own games to play with it
