Quite a large portion of humanity use the web.

News organisations use the web.

Businesses, Non profits, community groups use the web.

We've moved beyond our highly technical beginnings.

Having a standards body where the big players determine what gets standardised for their commercial gain means we have a less democratic web, a less Human rights focused web for humanity.

How will we understand the next generations needs if they have no seat at the table?

But perhaps that's the point.
