   I think people are more fearful of inclement weather than they used to be. We only have a few inches of snow. Roads are plowed and the air is warm enough to start a melt already but people afraid to get in the car

     And not knowing how to drive in snow. It would be better if you had a manual, but even with an automatic transmission you can shift to 2nd or 3rd gear. How do people 30+ not know this?

     @thatguyoverthere Same as it ever was. I think "All Wheel Drive" gives people a false confidence. People think their subcompact crossover can go over anything.

     @BowsacNoodle awd does great as long as you don't try to plow through snow that's higher than the car chassis, but I don't remember life stopping for a few inches of snow when I was young. I remember plenty of times as a kid thinking this will get us a snow day and then not even getting a delay.

     @d0c40r0 @BowsacNoodle my Passat handled snow like a boss. I had to go out and pick people up for work on a few occasions. Truck does better but still, z Germans make a good awd

     My first car was a chevy beretta. Back then we used to get some significant snow storms and that car always plowed right out of it.
