   So ridiculous how people think that they are "free", when in fact we are all imprisoned by rules and laws, many of which are entirely harmful and primitive.

     @tio Russell Means once said you are free to be anything you want to be in America, except an American Indian. For us, and despite laws like ICWA, child removal in particular remains a prevalent tool for state governments to take American Indian children who are then provided to for-profit adoption agencies to sell to (often out of state) white families. This issue was the dominant one our tribal government had to deal with. The US takes immigrant children at the border, too.

     @tio If I would call America something, it may well be the land of stolen children, as it is so common. I was removed from my birth family when I was 3, shipped off to a privileged elderly white couple, and did not see or know any of them until well after I was 30.
