     @piepants FYI, the scp protocol is officially deprecated by OpenBSD/OpenSSH project. The rest is Linux shenanigans. LOL

     How inefficient!
     Never mind that you have to be careful not to accidentally overwrite other files by setting the wrong options.

     @nixCraft I love the standard approach of open source projects. Sure I understand they're trying to avoid increasing technical debts, but oftentimes it feels like the cost of being free is your time to sufficiently be confused, learn, and adapt.

     @solarisfire RHEL 10 and other distros are going to drop them completely. It will return command not found error. At least that is what I was told.

     we do have sftp so I don't see why its a problem, unless you have thousands of scripts you need to rewrite
