     Yeah, that’s because a woman entering the club immediately ruins the atmosphere, the freedom, the camaraderie, and the comfort for us. Just as a single guy would ruing the girls’ night sleepover, a woman in the garage doesn’t make us more advanced, it just makes us put on a show and hate her behind her back

     @duke I wonder where it is. We had a girl here a while back who was proudly talking about how she got hired at a garage to work as a tech, and she noticed all the horny pinups disappeared between the interview and her start date.

     Tried to spin it like “I didn’t even ASK them to, it’s not fair to blame me, I didn’t do anything! Besides, they liked me later on”

     She saw us talking about it and understood that she just ruined a workplace for them, whether she meant to or not.

     I don't think that the women actually entering these spaces actively mean harm in most cases - honestly, I doubt whether women in most situations "mean" anything as such - but these people's absolute refusal to acknowledge the fact that sex-segregated and sex-integrated spaces are just ontologically separate things means they're always going to be confusedly bouncing off reality even when they aren't TRYING to fuck things up
