      @che5hire that's a PC pack IIRC, but he does have a Genesis game, and a better version that was on the Sega Channel with exclusive levels that's lost currently

      @coolboymew I know it’s a PC pack, aren’t Sega PC all (kinda shitty) Genesis ports? I only had the Sonic & Knuckles one as a kid but I couldn’t play it because my PC was too fast and logic was tied to the clock speed :neocat_woozy:

However, this does sound rather unfinished as you can tell by the simple drum pattern and the volume of certain instruments. As always, thank Drx and the Hidden Palace crew for dumping this Sonic 3 prototype for everyone to enjoy.

      @coolboymew Oh I’m quite aware. The genesis prototypes do sound alright but it doesn’t beat the MJ versions. Sadly I know they couldn’t use those because legal BS so it is what it is I guess 😔. I just wish they just ripped the prototype tracks for origins instead of remaking them with whatever the fuck sound font this is

      The 30$ (CAD) discount it got during Black Friday is the price it should've been to begin with

      Let's compare it with Mario Wonder. Mario Wonder actually managed to modernize the weird NSBM worldmap and formula that was just plain unsatisfying before. Basically, the weird "It's the retro format but we're not actually sticking to it completely" is where Sonic Superstar is stuck at. It's a decent enough retro Sonic, but they should have just went ahead and went full Retro with sprites, in presentation and no level select being always there (but it doesn't do anything special with it???)

      @coolboymew @Tsuki I’ll probably consider getting it if it ever drops under 25 loons. idk everything about it seems like they’re pulling another Sonic 4 and ignoring feedback like usual. Never played part 2 but I think part 1 is one of the worst Sonic games in general and was super deaf to why people actually liked the original genesis games. I unironically think Heros was a better game then 4.

      And wise choice, Sega games can go super low if you wait long enough. Hell, it could appear in the next Sonic Humble Bundle and you'll get everything else along with it

      @coolboymew Maybe, I probably won’t bother with a bundle unless they actually give out individual keys and don’t do that stupid tiered key shit like the last sonic bundle I got. I already own a bunch of Sonic games on Steam and would really like to give all the shit I already own to Sheepy or something.
