@LouisConde Most every "immune to koolaid" boomer I know has plenty of blacklists from the women and nigs they offended with standards. Invariably, they try to use kid gloves until the DIE hire screwed up and imperiled the 180 folks in the back, at which point the old guy walked them through their error and earned their everlasting ire.
Sure, he's doing the right thing in telling her how to fly the plane without bending mental, running off the end of the runway, or diving into terrain, but even the gentlest former mil IP can't possibly "RESPECC" her enough to give her correction. She'll bite her tongue, walk off the jetway, and put him on her no-fly list so they're never paired again.
Worse, she calls the chief pilot to spin a sob story about how he disrespected her because of her demographics - that's the only reason whity takes her to task, who is that dumbass cracker to complain if her black girl magic results in being 72 knots fast over the final approach fix? Who cares if that is a mandatory go-around per company procedures? It's not HER license, it's the old cracker who'll get the grumpy call from flops when they review the data in horror!
So this whitepilling thing is only partially correct. Only the most incompetent, obvious, plainly dangerous nigtards get the careful babysitter program. The majority of diversity hires are simply C- to D- pilots. They're always wavering on the fine line of "well, she's not THAT bad, if she just fixes a couple things then she'd be fine". Always a second chance, always just competent enough that you don't know she's dangerous until something actually goes wrong and you find yourself not just doing the work of 2 people under pressure, but 3 since you're force to be the captain, the FO, and the check airman watching over her shoulder to mitigate the things she screws up along the way
