Seeking another Earth? Look for low carbon dioxide
In our own Solar System, Earth has far lower CO2 concentrations than its neighbors.

@arstechnica Don't worry we're catching up💪
@arstechnica Not for long!
@arstechnica Unless it's not a O2/CO2 processing form of life.
One potential consideration has been, of all things, methane. If so there is potential life in some of the incredibly cold methane lakes on some of this solar systems moons even. This has potential to even be more widespread as oxygen/CO2 function requires a better temperature balance.
For all we know there may be other possibilities we haven't even considered. For example, there's ton of nitrogen. What if something used that?
