   @danhon Dan, there is only one thing this key should do:

   MacOS safely unmounts your USB device, then physically pushes the USB device out of your Mac.

   It would be a delightful callback to the original Macintosh.
   It would look incredibly cool on the international space station.

     I have an old Apple keyboard, so the key to the right of F12 is Eject, and I really think it's time for Eject to be reassigned to something useful in this age of Holy Shit What Did The Internet Metastasize Into.

     A non-exclusive list of Stuff The Eject Key Could Do Now:

     * close any open social network tabs/windows/applications
     * turn off all notifications
     * bring up a list of everything I can unsubscribe from
     * etc
