     @boburtle @transgrammaractivist @Remi @professionalbigot69 He did have a pause when he was doing the vidya rant. I asked why a young guy should lift a finger to help him when literally every teacher, principal, motivational speaker, pastor, counselor, cop, media face, etc says that boys are less than their female counterparts in every way, and actively demonized for things they never did.

     Games are the only place that they can put in effort and KNOW they'll get it rewarded. And it doesn't go out of its way to tell them girls could do it better if they wanted to

     @boburtle @transgrammaractivist @Remi @professionalbigot69 I've found that the old guys do tend to get it though. When you bring up the topic you can tell they start to realize how different teenage years are when everyone's shitting on you for not being a girl. Some are even horrified when they think about the messaging their grandkids get.

     One guy seemed like he was gonna urgently reinforce his relationship w/ the grandson when I itemized all the ways the kids' life is hell living with a single mom
