     If we're doing a running tally of Fediverse trolls' software of choice, it's:

     1. Pleroma - 14 instances
     2. Mastodon - 6 instances

     I haven't been able to find any instances that run on any other kind of Fediverse software.

     No Misskey, no Friendica, no Epicyon, etc.

     What's more, most software preferred by trolls doesn't support quotes.

     If QTs were so effective at trolling, why don't they use Friendica (supports quotes) instead of Pleroma (doesn't support quotes)?

     Some people are saying, "You need to have a big enough network effect for quotes to be useful for trolling."

     That's a silly notion, but I'll bite.

     Misskey and Friendica have the same network effect as Mastodon since they're both Fediverse services.

     @atomicpoet Agree with this analysis fully. The lack of moderation makes many corners of the current Mastodon downright dangerous. We should not trust that an average person running a server can handle complex moderation problems. Broad-based anonymity enables malicious actors to grow massive dormant troll farms, waiting for the day to start manipulating.

     We shouldn't be stupid or naive about this, but rather build tech and methods to tackle these problems, and make them widely available to everyone.

     ⬆️ The above tally busts quite a few myths about the Fediverse:

     1. The most popular software is always Mastodon -- not true, Trolls prefer Pleroma

     2. If quotes are available, they will be used by trolls -- not necessarily, they can use quotes now, but they don't

     3. Mastodon, in and of itself, is "less toxic" than other social media -- not true, it's still popular amongst trolls

     We demand complance
     Everyone must follow our rules or get expled from the offical 'system'

     None of them want to consider that we are incompatible and should have the ability to create our own network groups, our own associations + we shouldn't be FORCED to comply with THEIR rules & demands

     Why have only 1 'official list'

     Why cant a group of 5-10 servers have their own inter networking list and association ?

     We should have freedom of association

     that being said, we run a fork of pleroma called rebased, something you fail to take into your consideration (like you always do because you don't actually do any worthwhile research)
     
     pleroma has and supports quote posts as does the wider fediverse (see my attached screenshot)
     
     this entire thread is bullshit because you don't understand different fediverse software but you speak like you do so people listen to you.
