   So I’ve finally got a custom command integrated into the game I hope to make bots for. Let’s see if it works, then I can move on to creating a RL model for it.

   Since I have to create the ability for it to walk to train it (I am NOT tagging along for 10,000+ deaths) I figure I’ll create the barebones RL model first and go from there, pruning where necessary until I have something workable. With any luck, no pruning will be necessary at all

     Well suffice to say it didn't work. The command isn't registering. I think I'll try my luck later with a fresh set of eyes, see if it helps any.

Turned out I added a section to return nothing if no arguments were passed, but since it was a test I passed no arguments. :0181: I'm was also trying less direct ways to print my test message, but I don't know if that was a factor.
     
     On to RL modelling!

     @Zerglingman @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @lonelyowl It turns out there was never any implemented code to access a character who’s not currently playing. So I’ve been meaning to implement a tool to extract just the name of players who aren’t playing from the database, so I can continue. Life issues came up though, so I might get back around to it in the next couple days. We’ll see.

     I probably won't be able to say anything useful as i'm not a huge expert in this specific area, but i always want to support those who is excited about coding something interesting

     I think I may have FINALLY figured out how to actually log in a player. It’s a massive tangled web of pointers to references to pointers. A fucking mess. I am starting to hate Object Orientation.

     That said, I will test once it’s built. If successful, it will not only spawn all the bells and whistles of a normal user, but it will also log out if someone logs into the account. In essence, this will allow people to run bots of friends! I imagine you could hook up some chatbot to it with the personality of your friend, and at least have a simulated party of friends if they can’t be there or whatever. Also you could just bake random personalities.

     The possibilities honestly excite me.
