     She got shitcanned for "breaking a ton of rules" Turns out she had receipts and exposed Nijisanji as the black company it is and it has been a disaster for them ever since. They fucked over one of their biggest talents and in response another one just announced she's leaving.

     For example: Pomu(The one graduating) applied for hololive and didn't make it. The latest EN gen had Nerissa and twins who both said they had to apply around 4 times before they were accepted.

     If you're a good rigger, you can make a lot of money. They have an artist make the model and a separate person rigs the movement.

     I think a top tier 2D vtuber model is around 4 grand USD. Then you have the absolutely astronomical amount of marketing and merchandising Hololive puts into their characters. They need them to stick. They usually spend 6 months just onboarding the talents before debut.
