   @Moon @Tadano @Pawlicker @coolboymew there are definitely packrats if you know where to look, I know all the development materials for p47aces including source code were saved in the intervening 25-odd years from when it was released until plans for a remake were drawn up, despite both the publisher and developer going under in the meantime

     @allison @Tadano @Moon @coolboymew this guy recorded and composed the soundtrack to etrian odyssey with his PC-88, which he's used fdd emulators with.
     
     He's like those writers using wordstar still because it works.

     What's crazy is that he was dissatisfied with some songs and remade them in an update. The old (new) Northwall was kinda ehh, the new new version absolutely fucks but it's nowhere on youtube
