djsumdog (djsumdog@djsumdog.com)'s status on Tuesday, 31-Jan-2023 12:36:05 JST djsumdog I never had any consoles growing up, just computers .. but at my friends I played NES/SNES/Gensis. PS1 was like high school era. Post University I was hacking old PSPs ... I guess they were older than I thought ... I borrowed a co-worker/intern's PS2 in exchange for doing homework for him (he was dropping out of Computer Science and needed help saving this GPA. I was a poor grad student). The first console I actually owned (before the PSP) was a Wii. cool_boy_mew likes this. -

ICScaryThings (icscarythings@sleepy.cafe)'s status on Tuesday, 31-Jan-2023 14:00:51 JST ICScaryThings @djsumdog @coolboymew same is true with the DS tbh since it released early partially overlapping and making the GBAs life shorter (it released in like 2001 and the original 'fat DS' came out in 2004). The handhelds in general overlap on the generational boundary (which in reality is an arbitrary thing made up by marking people if you think about it). cool_boy_mew likes this.
