i just did over 3 hours of web browsing (trying to find a good adjustable weight bench outside of the US) with many tabs in firefox on A311D Reform that has only 4GB RAM, and there were zero problems because i just used a swapfile on my SSD :3

Instead consider setting the "swappyness" of your setup to the lowest possible value to conserve writes...
