     The ethics department originated from localizers convincing companies that they have to change their works in order to "meet global standards"
     
     It's too late to undo the damage they've caused but it's still possible to get the source of the problem shamed and replaced.
     
     The goal isn't to win, it's to make them lose.

     @Meemoo I’d temper your excitement a little bit, remember stuff like the ethics committee that determined that tifa needed a breast reduction for the 7 remake was in house at square enix, nothing to do with localizers, same with all these companies adding more diversity and lgbt representation in Japanese games for esg bucks and upcummies. Every fired (or redacted) localizer is an unmitigated moral good, but the real problems are much deeper.

     In all honesty though I'm sure most of us would take AI if it means bankrolling less Lolcowlizers who are too busy sniffing their farts and giving us fanfiction over just doing their job. They also appear to absolutely abhor the customer base that the material they're hired to lolcowlize is meant for anyways.
