@mangeurdenuage What we have now is a lot better. It's extremely convenient. You can load up a torrent and get what you want in a matter of minutes. But even so, I still remember how cool it was, and how excited I was , to program my VCR to record the 1970 horror film "The Dunwich Horror" which would be broadcast on cable at 2 in the hecking morning.
