   I've got a 3.5GB video that I need to shrink a bit. Any free software out there I could use? I've checked some sites, but they have a 1GB limit.

     @Dovahkiin It's a lot quicker to just fire off a search for the task you're trying to achieve than to attempt to ever truly become familiar with it.
     But the manpage is very detailed, and probably a fun read; many of them are, I've discovered.
