@supersid@gearlandia.haus I will get this right eventually

@supersid333 Actually I should change it so that the character has [Girl] tag regardless of what script writer set, until first ability is used.

@Zerglingman I think the most interesting trait about a character like this is the perpetual threat of being a secret sign with me target, so I'd argue making them at least a little harder to reveal would make them more entertaining.
Something like:
(Student)
"Passive: During script creation, secretly note down whether this character is a (Boy) or a (Girl)."
"Goodwill 2: Remove 1 Paranoia and give 1 Goodwill to a student in their location that doesn't share a (Boy)/(Girl) tag with them."
"Goodwill 4: Reveal the character's secret (Boy)/(Girl) tag.."

@supersid333 Rather than just Sign With Me, I think it's a good target for special rules that split on sex like that all-girls' school.
Although I do also quite like the thing about their ability only working on the opposite sex, but... How would that work? Leader activates and declares target, then MM says yes/no to whether the effect works? That would basically make the second ability redundant.
Also I'd probably want to change the theme of the character at that point, maybe even something more along the lines of "twin". (Actually THAT could be fun, a character that changes attributes every time they move. Probably way too screwy though... Unless it's not secret, then it might be ok. Just add a unique token that goes on their card and flips to indicate their current state.
Actually that could also be a fun use of the extra cards: Characters can have two states, maybe like light and dark or whatever, and the extra card changes their state. Maybe characters in different states are not considered to be in the same location as each other, so you effectively have 8 locations.)
With the trap character I do want to try to maintain the idea that the character looks like a girl but might actually be a boy... Honestly I still want to make it a role, something like "only boys can have this role. This character becomes a [girl] instead of a [boy]. This character can have another role that doesn't have goodwill refusal, and gains a hidden goodwill ability: '1: Reveal this character's role'".
So that ability could still be activated by the protagonists, like they have a character that they've put a goodwill on and say "I want to activate his hidden goodwill ability" and mastermind might say "he doesn't have one". It's just the thing about having a second role annoys me, so I thought it's better to make it as a character instead.
As a side note, the game never actually calls them tags (never gives them a name at all), so I try to avoid giving them a name in ability text.

@Zerglingman You could always just cut the word tag from that phrase. Also my thought was that they were treated as having neither until it was revealed, that way the ability works unisexly until such.

@supersid333 Yeah I like the idea, I just think that's not really how traps work. And to begin with, I got my idea backwards because a trap looks like a girl but isn't, so the trick would be that they're NOT eligible for Sign With Me.
Actually at that point it might be easier to just create a new set, add some male-focused plots.
