   One of the things I've noticed, to follow the trend of "things on the internet that used to work fine and now don't" is Google poisoning their own Maps database of locations and businesses around 2020. At that time they just applied the "Temporarily Closed" label to everything and then didn't lift it after any period of time. The only way to remove the label was for an owner to contact Google and update it manually, or for a customer/visitor to get dataharvested and update it via report.
   
   Which is interesting since now 3 years later the only businesses with the tags are those that were established before 2020 and either went out of business or haven't had any engagement with google-minded visitors.

     Definitely true on the latter, a local Best Buy and Steak and Shake are marked as such.
