     Do Mac user's really have freedom?

     A coworker of mine spent thousands of dollars on his laptop. It stopped working. He did not need a new part, just a number from Apple to reactivate the part. Apple refused, bricking his laptop.

     Apple does things like that all of the time to force their customers to pay more money.
