@sapphire Hmmmm I dunno bucko, see, this suburban momma just started raising hens last july and she says she’s never seen this before so they’re moooooost likely certainly ruining the nutrition of commercial chicken feed to make us more dependent on store-bought eggs

The breakdowns in the supply chain are doing more of that than actually turning chicken feed into poison that doesn't cause any problems in chickens besides poorer laying in winter, you know?Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this. -

I already suspected they’d change ratios to cut protein, like they did with the dog food.
But someone grabbed it from the back of the shed so I got nothin’.
Goat feed is super popular with pretty much everyone though, I’ve never seen an animal not leap for joy at it. It’s a little more pungent and kinda oily/wet in the hands. I sometimes use it as a seasoning when there’s feed something isn’t super into
