   I want a 90s raspberry pi.

   like yeah I have plenty of actual 90s SBCs but a specifically raspberry pi would be amusing.

   serial ports, VGA output, boots off a CF card. ethernet? no it's got an onboard 56k modem

     @foone Dual PCMCIA card slots or go home. That way you can have a dual-function card (thinnet, 10mbps) and 56K modem in one slot and Wifi (11mbps) in the other.

     @hittitezombie @cstross pcmcia cards are the best computer tech to hoard because you can have a hundred of them and they all just fit in one box
