     @Meemoo They did this for Princess Connect as well, despite it being a money printer on par with the Federal Reserve. You're far better off just using whatever means you can to get into the JP version of the game and learn enough of the games controls to play in JP mode. Like people do for Kantai Collection and other JP exclusive affairs

     @Mutsu_a125 they took the game back from CR after seeing how badly they fucked it up yet it still wasn't enough to keep it alive.
     once CR's taint is on your game, it's over.

     You have to understand that first impressions are VERY important for a gacha game.
     The game had plenty of hype during launch but the CR shit killed it.
     
     It's very hard to recover from a ruined first impression.
     Punishing gray raven fucked up their launch massively and even though they supposedly backpedaled and became more generous, it still killed the potential interest the game would've otherwise received

     @Meemoo @Mutsu_a125 pretty sure in this case it was more they took back the license and had a decent run after that. Memoria Freese JP is also EoS both servers have been on maintenance mode for the past few months already.
