     @book@sleepy.cafe @cell@pl.ebin.zone due to the "no child left behind" policy as well as the "mother tongue education" policy, and also due to the fact that if teachers fail a student it's considered a problem with the teacher, most teachers opt to pass students onto the next grade level having not learned the required shit to pass
     
     thus you end up with grade 5 students barely able to read, grade 8 students not knowing how to add and subtract, and high school grads that only barely grasp how sentences work
