   @waifu it's hard to do anything more complex than "install nginx" with plain apt because of how debian packages things. some admins will produce one-liners involving processing output of apt and dpkg because they're :insane: but generally when there's more than a dozen packages and/or conflict resolution involved you want to do it interactively in aptitude/synaptic or you'll be tracking the fallout for the next hour
