     @esther sure, rosetta2 should be able to execute wine? (i have never used an arm mac though and haven't used a mac in a while, so YMMV). i do it by executing wine through box64, which is like an open source version of rosetta2 for linux.

     did this because i wanted to try the OpenEnroth engine (works fine with LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE)
