My dad thought things like this, but oddly he wasn't very heavy handed about his response. He just told me to be careful, to always remember that it's not real, and to not take it too seriously. But then again he was also an illiterate survivalist (first grade reading comprehension) and he thought certain books had demonic secrets in them. Paradoxically, he was also super impressed with me when I made it through college and got my Bachelor's. I showed him some of the math things I learned in college like pathfinding algorithms and calculus and his only response was: "Holy shit" and "those are runes." He literally said that shit lmfao

Dude would disappear for months in the mountains and return with meat.
