     Back when I used to be into this, I wrote this script that dumps my home directory and pipes it into compression, so basically at the end of that command you put the ssh command for the target destination, instead of a directory.

     DATE=`date "+%Y-%m-%d%n"`
     
     mount /dev/sd2c /mnt2
     
     rm -v /mnt2/obsd-backup/backup*
     dump -0u -a -f - /home | gzip -f -c | cat - > /mnt2/obsd-backup/backup-$DATE
     umount /mnt2
     sysupgrade -s

     Execute is 1
     Write is 2
     Read is 4

     You add the numbers to calculate the permission value. First digit is user, second is group, third is anyone else.
