     @RupertvonRipp I assume everyone does that to some extent. I have different versions I use depending on who I’m dealing with. My chick was described as quite and kinda blank, but that’s only because everyone who knew her and me only ever saw her in quiet tagalong-with-parents mode. She never struck out on her own so they never saw her as a standalone person. In practice she’s not all that close to how she was described.

     I think that kind of thing is what they like when they girls want “intimacy”. They love the idea of getting close enough (to a man worthy of it) and reaching a point no other has ever achieved

     Also I don’t take guys’ writings like this at face value. I look past the whole “writing for posterity” thing and understand that sometimes there are reasonings and feelings you’re just not willing to put to paper when rationalizing your choices like this.

     I’d bet this whole “she helps me be a better person” thing pales in comparison to “dammit man she’s feisty and I just wanna love her”
