@transgrammaractivist @Terry @DEERBLOOD @Kang_Kong3 @Punished_Potatus For an LLC the money is pass-through, it's each guy's own business whether or not he evaded taxes. Embezzlement isn't so easy either, because they didn't promise anything. As long as the partners of the LLC deem it proper then it doesn't matter where the money goes, there're no shareholders owed any diligence. Whatever they try to get them on criminally, it's probably pretty hard to make stick when there isn't measurable harm done to outsiders, and it's all done under a vague LLC mission. I've seen some VERY questionable money usage in LLCs before.
Only time will tell who's right here, but the only thing to really fear for them is lawsuits aiming at their personal assets, unless there's some pathway to destruction they can bring about by "impersonating a political party" or something. I'll believe fines in their future, but not prison time.
