@Moon I've always been a raw sql kinda guy since I'm only ever either working with postgres, or sqlite (which has good compatibility with postgresisms). Portability is never ever an issue for me as I avoid it as a design consideration.
Are you using an ORM or just a query builder to avoid writing the sql yourself?
