yes it does, run the numbers and see for yourself
-
@Kagekokoro @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @anornymorse No it doesn't.

@jeffcliff @anornymorse >Covid wasn't that common there until then.
I'm not inclined to believe China when it says it succeeded at that policy.
>Not as bad as covid *is and continues to be*
The efficacy of the vaccines is questionable, as is their safety. I agree that COVID is bad, but that does not mean we should've taken wild risks with releasing a vaccine.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating @jeffcliff @anornymorse
Covid mortality distribution mirrors the one from the common flu
if you are old and/or immunodepressed, you die from it
-
@jeffcliff @anornymorse >eradicate a virus that, in all likelihood, is as common as the cold in China
Yeah, shit's doomed. The mask issue aside (I still wear mine), rushing a vaccine and not testing it properly before making large segments of the populace take it was terrible.
I don't see any reason why we should trust medical professionals after the giant mess that was the vaccine rollout.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating @anornymorse China managed to have a covid zero policy until what, 3 weeks ago? Covid wasn't that common there until then.
> rushing a vaccine and not testing it properly before making large segments of the populace take it was terrible.
Not as bad as covid *is and continues to be*

@anornymorse Masks are not useless. Vaccines & lockdowns can work.
the point is to eradicate the virus, unfortunately people like you allowed it to continue.

@Kagekokoro @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @anornymorse I have seen for myself: it's nowhere near close.
