@Paultron @eee No my power supply crapped out so I had a new one swapped in. It was running fine but I noticed my CPU fan wasn't spinning, I shut my PC down but when I started it back up it wouldn't boot and a light was flashing on the motherboard. I was talking with the guy who "fixed" it but he didn't know.

@PraxisOfEvil @eee would it POST?

@Paultron @eee It wouldn't do anything
-
@eee @Paultron I just don't know wtf is going on with my computer right now
-
@PraxisOfEvil @eee are you struggling with rendering things, or crashing?
-
@eee @Paultron I'm running a GTX 1080 ti, maybe I don't need to upgrade
-
@PraxisOfEvil @Paultron lmao you're fine
-
@PraxisOfEvil i can't tell what your exact needs are but AMDs 6800s and NVIDIA 2070ti/2080tis can be found for good prices these days
keep an eye out for sales and you may be able to scoop up a fairly cheap 3070/3080, but that really requires a bit of luck. i recommend prioritizing more VRAM over newer generation cards.

@Paultron @PraxisOfEvil what this nerd said, processing power hasnt really progressed enough through the generations but ram requirements have
you'll be fine with a 6 year old cpu these days

What's a good mid range GPU? Not really looking for 4K gaming and raytracing or whatever, just need something to handle video editing and maybe some indie games
